How to Measure Your Ring Size
Method 1: Using an Existing Ring (Most Accurate)
- Find a ring that fits your desired finger comfortably.
- Place the ring flat on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter of the ring from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge at the widest point.
- Note your measurement in mm or cm.
- Compare your measurement to our size chart above to find your size.
Tip: Make sure to measure the inside of the ring, not the outside!
Method 2: Using String or Paper
- Take a piece of string, ribbon, or thin strip of paper.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger (not too tight, not too loose).
- Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps to form a complete circle.
- Lay the string or paper flat and measure the length from the starting point to the mark using a ruler.
- This measurement is your finger's circumference - use the chart below to convert to diameter:
Circumference to Diameter Conversion:
- 50-53 mm (5.0-5.3 cm) = Size 6
- 53-56 mm (5.3-5.6 cm) = Size 7
- 56-59 mm (5.6-5.9 cm) = Size 8
Pro Tip: The diameter measurement is more accurate, but this method works well if you don't have an existing ring!
Which Size Should I Choose?
- Your measurement is 16.0 mm? → Choose Size 6
- Your measurement is 17.2 mm? → Choose Size 7
- Your measurement is 18.0 mm? → Choose Size 8
Between sizes? We recommend sizing up for comfort, especially if:
- Your knuckle is larger than your finger base
- You prefer a looser, more comfortable fit
- The ring has a wider band

Q: What if I'm between two sizes?
A: We generally recommend going with the larger size for comfort. A slightly loose ring is more comfortable than one that's too tight.
Q: Can rings be resized?
A: While many rings can be resized by a jeweler our rings our made of stainless steel and therefore it cannot be resized, our demi-fine jewellery is designed to fit perfectly as-is. Please measure carefully before ordering.
Q: My ring size varies between my fingers. Which should I measure?
A: Always measure the specific finger you plan to wear the ring on, as sizes can differ significantly between fingers and hands.
Q: What if none of your sizes fit me?
A: Our sizes 6, 7, and 8 fit most people comfortably. If you need a different size, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Q: How do I know if my ring fits correctly?
A: The perfect fit should slide over your knuckle with a little resistance and sit comfortably on your finger without spinning excessively or feeling tight.
